Hello and Thank You.

As President of the Kentucky Association of EMT’s, I would like to take this time to speak shortly about the First Spring Fling in Education. This was KAEMT first venture into the world of a conference, and it appeared to be a great one. A lot of hard working people came together to put this conference together and it worked. The feedback from the students and instructors was overwhelmingly great. So next year will be in the plans soon.

   I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped in some way. To all the workers thank you. You preformed far beyond the call to duty, and without your help there would have been way too much work to do. You came thru.

   To the vendors, thanks for your support. You paid the way for the students to get the education they needed.

   A special thanks goes to three people. To Jaime Stamper, Lesley Braggs, and Heather Rigsby, you girls carried us. Running here and there whenever you were asked. Sometimes the people that do the most work don’t get the recognition they deserve. But to you thank you.

  To PHI: What can I say? No words can describe how your group was there. You provided more than I expected and the equipment you brought was awesome. Thank You.

   A special thank you goes out to all the instructors. Without them there would have been no classes. They gave of their time so that the EMS community could get what has been much needed in Eastern Kentucky for along time.

   There is a lot of work to be done before next year, but I really feel this year was an overall success. Attendance was low, but for a first year I feel KAEMT and all who were there did a great job. So much to do and so little time. The programs offered were great, but lets work together to make the 2007 Spring Fling in Education even bigger. Please feel free to write me and make suggestions for next year.  Next year will be here before you know it, and we will once again be behind.
