The KAEMT Corporate Sponsorship program serves to
strengthen the existence of projects by continuing to improve the
services provided to the growing community, and to secure relationships
with businesses that care concerns themselves with the needs of emergency
services and to help with training when ever possible. Listed below is
just as few up and coming events for 2007 that sponsorship provides.
KAEMT Kentucky EMS Olympics
The EMS Olympics are a statewide competition where EMS personnel compete
against other personnel in a mock scene,
and are judged on their
performance of the treatment of the mock scene. Winners from three regions
move on to state finals to compete for a state championship in events such
as Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support
EMS Week Event
Each year in the month of May, EMS is recognized for their contribution to
the public by declaring National EMS Week.
KAEMT in conjunction with this
week provides one day of some type of activity for the EMS personnel.
This
year KAEMT is planning a full day of free food and entertainment in
Shelbyville, Kentucky for EMS personnel and their families.
KAEMT Spring
Fling EMS Education Conference
In the spring of 2005 KAEMT held its first educational conference. This
was done to provide quality education to the EMS field in Kentucky.
This year KAEMT has secured an excellent facility and once again
hold a spring education conference with some of the best educators in
Kentucky.
